At MIR (developed by SSThinks), we respect your right to control your personal data, credentials, and digital media footprint. This page explains how any registered user can easily request or execute the permanent deletion of their account and associated data.
1. In-App Immediate Self-Service Deletion (Fastest)
You can permanently delete your account directly inside the app at any time with immediate effect:
- Open the MIR app or navigate to https://www.meinrank.com.
- Click your User Profile / Avatar in the top header.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the profile panel and click "Delete My Account".
- Confirm the action in the confirmation prompt. Your credentials, stored session identifiers, and user registry entries will be deleted immediately.
Note on Uploaded Photos & Videos: You can also delete any specific photo or video submission you posted at any time by clicking the Trash (Delete) icon on that media card. This immediately purges the media record, vote counts, and metadata from the cloud database.
2. Web / Email Deletion Request (Alternative)
If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your account directly, you can submit a deletion request via our designated support contact:

Required Details: Please include your registered email address and username.
Processing Time: All email deletion requests are verified and permanently fulfilled within 24 to 48 hours.
3. What Data Is Deleted Upon Request?
When an account deletion request is processed:
- User Credentials & Profile: Your registered email, display username, avatar selection, and authorization records are permanently wiped.
- Uploaded Media: All associated photos, videos, titles, and tags submitted by your user profile will be permanently deleted from the Google Cloud Firestore database.
- Ratings & Social Actions: Rating scores, comments, follow connections, and vote tallies associated with your profile will be purged.
4. Data Retention Policy
We do not retain copies of your deleted personal data or uploaded media. Once deleted, the data cannot be restored. Any localized browser cache is immediately invalidated upon sign-out and deletion.
